DC Conspiracy Members

DC Conspiracy is a an association of artists, creators, and comic creators based in the Washington, DC area. Many of their artists attended our very first convention. They are known for their friendly, outgoing attitudes and openness with fans. These are the members that are coming to RisuCon in 2024.

Michael Auger

Michael Auger (last name pronounced: O-'zhA / rhymes with okay) is a full-time freelance artist based in Rockville, Maryland. He is a member of the D.C. Conspiracy comics creators’ collective and is also known for his offbeat paintings that feature an assortment of animals, crazy characters, mythical monsters and more. His motto is “If you can dream it, I can draw it!”

Geoff Weber is an artist, writer and magician. His comic book work include sci-fi adventures: The Scientists and Bug Hunt and comic anthologies such as Not So Fair Tales and Stupid Kids.

Adam Griffiths is a cartoonist/illustrator based in the Washington D.C. area. He is the author of "Washington White," a civil rights sci-fi graphic novel and the director of DWIGHTMESS Cartooning & Comic Arts, a comics-focused gallery/compound located in downtown Silver Spring MD.

Dale Rawlings is a local cartoonist who has self published comics since 1994. Some of his work includes G.O.P. Nuts, Skidoo, Jesus 2016, and Down and Out On Planet Earth. He is also a member of DC Conspiracy, the DC area comic creators collective

Tom Arvis

Tom Arvis is creator, writer, illustrator and self-publisher of his independent comic-book label, Sureshot Comics (sureshjotcomics.com), including comic books, graphic novels and trade paperbacks of such titles as “Wayout West,” “Mercenary Pig,” “XRQ-24 The Pandimensional Man,” and his anthology title, “Adolescent Power Fantasies." Tom Arvis and his wife Kathy have been Rockville, MD residents since 1983, and he is a 30-plus-year veteran in the fields of Freelance Illustration, Graphic Design, and independent self-publishing.
