RisuCon is pleased to announce that our event will be held at the
Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
RisuCon will be jam-packed with exciting things to do all weekend.
RisuCon will be offering FREE parking. Park your car and walk right in to RisuCon!
RisuCon 2025 is located RIGHT NEXT to several Metrobus and RideOn bus stops.
Besides running the cosplay contests and parade at RisuCon, Superhero Support Causeplayers will be hanging out at the event all day. Drop by for some awesome superhero photos!
Food choices: There are many food locations to walk to, just a block or two away, including; Popeyes, Pollo Campero, Ixtapalapa Taqueria, Lu's Buffet, Kenny's Subs, and more! There will be several food trucks located right next to the RisuCon buildings inside the fairgrounds! Super convenient! You can order delivery or bring outside food in to the convention space, no problem!
Thanks to Black Horse Kettle Corn for being a food truck vendor for our last two events (not yet confirmed for RisuCon 2025).
The fairgrounds and event space are 100% ADA accessible. There are level changes, slopes, weird bumps, and ramps at the fairgrounds. Let a staff member know if you need assistance or just directions on how to find a good entrance.
