There are 3 maj0or cosplay events at RisuCon 2025: The Cosplay Parade, the Youth Contest, and the Adult Contest.

 

All attendees in cosplay are welcome to join the Cosplay Parade (see schedule for time). there will be a People's Choice Award given to a member of the parade, judged by a group of people randomly scattered along the parade route.

 

Persons up to age 15 can participate in the Youth Contest. Youth Contest registration is on-site only. The judges will decide how many entrants to accept for this contest the day of the event based on the amount of entries and the complexity of cosplays judged. Prizes are awarded in several classes for this event.

 

The Adult Cosplay Contest has a limited amount of entrants. Slots in the RisuCon Cosplay contest will go fast with $500 on the line! Increase your chances of getting a spot by pre-registering for one of the 30 online positions. Each application is reviewed and screened by a team of judges from Superhero Support. All entries into our cosplay contest go through an in-person, day of the show, examination of their cosplay. Not everyone who registers/enters will advance to the final, on-stage contest; you can be cut at any time, for any reason, based on the final authoraty of the judging team. Your craftsmanship becomes part of your final scoring. Superhero Support has final say in how many contestants will be in the show. Your best chance is to pre-register using this form.
